This coming month we'd like to prove that dressing ethically and sustainably doesn't mean having to make sacrifices in terms of style and trends.

Along with Sònia founder and editor of online magazine sogoodsocute.com (visita su página web para la versión español de este post), we have decided to put this to the test by initiating the following challenge: encouraging as many people as possible to create trendy street style looks from ethical and sustainable fashion brands like the example above.

Feeling intrigued? Then why not take us up on our challenge and choose your favourite trend or style picture and create a look of your own? Share it on Twitter or Facebook until November 30th, including a short description mentioning the brands featured and the hashtag #slowstreetstyle - et voilà!

Each look will then be posted on both our blogs in December, in order to create a sustainable fashion lookbook for this season!

Remember that dressing the "slow" way means:

1. Wearing clothes from brands which respect the human, fair labour, health and social rights of the people involved in the whole process of making their clothes.

2. Buying brands that are very aware of how limited the planet's resources are and therefore at least try to apply less environmentally damaging systems and minimize subsequent overexploitation of such resources.

3. Supporting brands that are being produced close to you, as this is the first step to minimizing your ecological footprint and ensure fair labour conditions.

We hope to have caught your interest and look forward to your creations!

Good luck & hasta luego!

Sònia & Sabina
